In my "real life" I'm a professional trash nerd! I help the fine people and businesses in New York City build sustainable, low and no waste infrastructure policies and practices. It's a pretty sweet life considering it's all about garbage.

Tarot is special to me. My childhood was tumultuous and unsupported. I was told if I brought things like tarot or Ouija into the house that I would be kicked out when I was very young. When I brought home my very first tarot deck (literally a thumb-sized deck, easy to hide) it was like a secret between my and just myself. Tarot stayed very private to me for the fist 18 or so years of my practice. When I opened up my practice and slowly started reading for others, my entire world changed. Tarot gave me back the earth under my feet, and working with tarot has helped so many others find actualization and more!

Despite the fact that I have chronic pain in my hands, I love making things. It's a  bonus that malas and prayer beads serve a spiritual purpose because the act of designing and building them is a meditation in and of itself -- the process brings me peace. I love designing around a color motif, an intention, a vibe, or even just because I found an incredible stone that I cannot resist making something with. I also use my hands for things like painting, cross stitching, and baking incredible cookies and cakes in the cooler months.
